We’re delighted to post this special summer issue 2026 of Global Voice magazine that features the winners, runners-up, and finalists from the CoBS Case Development Competition.

This marks an innovative change from the traditional CoBS CSR Student Article Competition which ran – with much success – from 2017-2025 with over 4,000 students across the CoBS schools submitting articles with each yearly June special issue featuring 174 articles from the CoBS member school student winners, runners-up and finalists.

How does it change in 2026? The competition has been integrated into the CoBS Advanced International Certificate in Responsible Business Practices as Module 2 out of 4 in the programme.

Global Voice magazine #36: This Issue GV36 features 45 contributors, including 32 students from CoBS member schools ESSEC Business School, FGV EAESP, Fudan School of Management, IE Business School, IIM Bangalore, Warwick Business School and 13 faculty from these schools with research-based insights to accompany the student cases. It has been enhanced and strengthened to stretch students that little bit further and involves 4 elements: An interview with a sustainability-ESG-CSR-Social Impact leadership figure, analysis of this person’s company or organisation in terms of impact, development of a case presentation and a video where the students pitch their case analysis, and finally an article destined for the wider public. Indeed, the last deliverable from each participating school features in this special issue June 2026 Global Voice magazine #36. The competition article thus contributes to one of the fundamental missions of the CoBS, founded in 2011 – promote teaching, research and knowledge in responsible leadership and business practices to the wider world, thereby sensitizing society to the major issues at the crossroads of business, society, and planet.
