The CoBS launches its first Student Article Competition 2019
The Council on Business & Society launches an inter-school article writing competition for the students of our 5 member schools studying in France, Singapore, Morocco, Brazil, China, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Open to students from all programmes both undergraduate and postgraduate in full-time studies with a passion for CSR, CSV, diversity, social enterprise, sustainability, responsible leadership and finance.
Finalists and winners from each school will win a cash prize, feature in a special Student Edition of the Council’s quarterly magazine Global Voice, and also appear on this blog.
Students can choose one topic from those suggested by faculty juries in each school. For this first event, the topics include how migration contributes to economic prosperity, what companies can do to decrease domestic violence against women, the employee and automation, corporate involvement in the community, gender equality and its effect on prosperity, the balance between international and local corporate CSR implementation, company ethics and how to capitalise on senior citizens’ knowledge and experience.
Plans are being made to run a parallel competition in 2020 for the readers and followers of this Council Community blog. Watch this space!
