Super chickens versus social sensitivity: Margaret Heffernan’s “Forget the pecking order at work” TED talk
Margaret Heffernan is an entrepreneur, Chief Executive and author with a chequered career in the media, IT and public affairs. She sits on the boards of leading UK arts institutions and companies. Her third book, Wilful Blindness was a finalist for the Financial Times/Goldman Sachs Best Business Book award.
In her provocative and intelligent TED talk, she asks the question: Why are some teams so productive and so successful and others not? and takes us through “super chicken tests”, MIT research, IQ, social sensitivity, horse dung and helpfulness – with some surprising answers to the question.
